These files contain the PSNR, SSIM, VIFP, VQM, PVQM values for all the 10 sequences in the database (59520 encodings) when decoded applying each one of the 25 loss traces available in the corresponding folder. The reconstructed video sequence has been computed using the decoder software available at http://media.polito.it/jeg , then compared with the original uncompressed video sequence. Further information about the database can be found at http://vqegjeg.intec.ugent.be/wiki/index.php/Main_Page in particular at http://vqegjeg.intec.ugent.be/wiki/index.php/JEG_no-reference_hybrid_HEVC As of Jan 2015 the 10 sequences (src01 ... to src10): - at 960x544 resolution have been evaluated in full (59520 sequences) with all loss traces, for a total of 1,488,000 decodings and objective quality measures. - at 1920x1080 resolution have been evaluated in part (named "priority1"), with all loss traces - at 1280x720 resolution have been evaluated in part (named "priority1"), with all loss traces The objective quality metric for each whole sequence is available in the corresponding .csv files. For further information about the encoding parameters please refer to the wiki page at http://vqegjeg.intec.ugent.be/wiki/index.php/JEG_no-reference_hybrid_HEVC The fields not mentioned in the wiki have the following meaning: - rateORqp : the rate constraint (for constant bitrate encoding) or the fixed QP - bitratetype : the type of rate control algorithm used (0=frame level, 1=LCU level, 2=no rate control fixed QP) - gop : the GOP size - goptype : the GOP type (0=normal (GOP), 1=low-delay configuration (LDGOP)) - losstraceID : - plr : the packet loss rate as indicated in the name of the loss trace - abl : the average burst length as indicated in the name of the loss trace - final_value : the objective quality metric over the whole sequence Note: "inf" values in the final_value field in the PSNR files happen when one or more frames in the decoded sequence are identical to the original video frame. This is the result provided by the VQMT tool. Further information about the tools and other issues can be found at http://vqegjeg.intec.ugent.be/wiki/index.php/JEG_no-reference_hybrid_HEVC
