"A SIMULATIVE STUDY OF ANALYSIS-BY-SYNTHESIS PERCEPTUAL VIDEO CLASSIFICATION AND TRANSMISSION OVER DIFFSERV IP NETWORKS"

Sequence used in our simulations: modified version of the Amélie's film trailer.

We eliminated the parts with still images, because they are not significant (concealment is always excellent), so packet losses do not influence the performance of the algorithms.
The sequence was repeated 6 times to obtain significant statistical results.
The packet loss rate is about 15 %.

Here are some clips resulting from the simulations. The PSNR values in the table are computed on that clip only.

Each file is about 12.3 MB (49.4 sec., 1/6 of the entire simulation):
